If you have a firewall (Norton, McAfee, or Zone Alarm), you may need to configure it to allow 4XGENIE INSTANT ALERT access to the Internet. 4XGENIE INSTANT ALERT uses a TCP connection over the Internet to the 4XGENIE servers. This will usually trigger firewall software, which will simply ask you if you want to let it through. Since connections occur automatically throughout the day, select the option that will always allow it access. Sometimes firewall software will not prompt you and will block 4XGENIE INSTANT ALERT by default. In that case, you will need to manually configure your firewall. If you have a problem how manually to configure your firwall, go to our support page and send an email to support so we can try to help.

After installing the 4XGENIE ISTANT ALERT software a small red icon will appear in the System Tray found in the lower right-hand corner of your desktop. Right click on this icon to activate the Desktop Alert Help Menu.

Alerts Log – Open the Alerts Log window. The most current alert will be shown on top of the previous alerts in the order they were sent. This can be useful in case you missed prior alerts. Do not keep the alerts log open for an extended period of time. If the alerts log remains open, new alerts will not be received. Play with this to get familiar with the software.

Because of our filters, there will be times when we miss some market moves, but better be safe then sorry. We like to go for a big move but not for any price. We have to protect our ASSets. You must trade with stops. You choose unit size for every trade (refer to your personal investment profile). You choose what system you want to trade ( refer to our ALERTS page and TRADING STRATEGYS page). Always check your charts to confirm present market conditions. Make your own evaluation of the market before making any trading decisions. We send instant desktop alerts on all 6 systems. Depending upon market conditions, be prepared to place market or entry orders to enter the market.

HOW TO TRADE SYSTEMS #1, #2, #4 and #5

Ideal for busy people. Alerts are sent via email with a chart attached and by 4xGenie Instant Alert Service. Usually email and alerts or sent after 8pm EST. You don't have to be wait by your computer. At around 9pm EST, check the 4XGENIE Alert Log. If you see any alert for systems #1, #2, #4 and #5, check your email to see the charts if you want to place a trade.

HOW TO TRADE SYSTEMS #3 and #6

ACTIVE TRADERS ONLY

You must stay in front of your PC all the time. Your Trade Station must be open ( both real and practice) and your 60min and 15min charts must also be open. The night before you should do your "homework" - Trade Journal must be completed. You should know the day trend for all major currency pairs. TREND INDEX. If the alert arrives and is inline with the day trend, this is benefitial. Due to the volatile nature of the Forex market, expect to place ENTRY or MARKET orders when the alert arrives. Never trade from 4XGENIES Alert Log. ALWAYS TAKE A REAL TIME ALERT TRADE.

TRADING PLAN FOR SYSTEM #3

Usualy enter market order when Alert arives.

TRADING PLAN FOR SYSTEM #6

The trading system functions in real-time. Due to the volatile nature of the Forex market, expect the market price to be more then 10 to 15 pips away from the Alert Price. Depending upon market conditions, place either a Market or Entry order to enter the market.

Enter a Market order within 10 to 15 pips of the Alert Price.

If the market price is 20 pips or more away from the Alert price, place an Entry Limit order.

Set an Entry Limit order within 10 to 15 pips of the Alert Price for possible retrace.

Cancel an Entry Limit order if not filled within 1 hour.

Place a 30-pip Stop Loss order.

Place a 30-pip Limit order.

If the trade is profitable and you choose to let it run until an Exit alert is received, place a stop loss above breakeven or set a trailing stop order within your own risk tolerance.
